PLAYTIME WORKSHOP and MICETRO SHOW
Participants get to spend an afternoon playing with the Improfessionals, and then perform in public in the evening. Both workshop and show are usually bilingual.
The show format is Micetro Impro, invented by Keith Johnstone. It's an eliminatory format, where only one improviser remains until the end. Two directors are responsible for the quality of the performance. The audience scores the scenes - NOT the players. This procedure results in good teamwork rather than 'each man for himself'. Micetro Impro is a great way to mix beginners and more experienced players on stage. The Improfessionals are officially licensed to perform the show in public.
Playtime/Micetro events will be announced here on the web site and in our newsletter. Sign up here to get it!

TESTIMONIAL (Playtime/Micetro May 9th 2009)
Fergus -
Impro Academy student 2008/09
"I greatly enjoyed improvising with so many students from other classes with whom I had never worked before. And the show format was a blast and true to your signature style of constructive teamwork.
And I was genuinely impressed and humbly grateful that practically the entire Improfessionals team were there to guide, support and encourage us. You each have your own unique approach and the delicious mix of your different personalities disproves the dictum that 'too many cooks spoil the (bubble) soup!' "
