COMMON APPROACH
Part of our strength at Impro Academy are our different personalities and distinct styles of teaching; we each emphasise different aspects of improvisational theatre - but when it comes to the heart of the matter, we both firmly believe that GOOD IMPRO is about:
- taking risks and accepting failure with a smile;
- daring to be obvious and allowing yourself to be altered;
- taking care of others and letting yourself be inspired by them;
- having fun and creating stories together - spontaneously and from the gut.
In a nutshell, making impro theatre is about being as good natured and positively human as you can be. It takes more than mere technique and acting skills. It takes courage. |
